The Content Problem (IMHO)

It is now very easy for everyone to access the internet and publish content. Don’t get me wrong; I believe this is something extraordinary and essential. Modern technologies allow people to (almost) freely access information, share it, and monetize it.

While this creates incredible opportunities, I also believe that monetization, as it is practiced today, presents a problem. Much of the focus is now on traffic, KPIs, engagement, and visitor monetization. As a result, priorities are moving away from creating content that informs and provides value, and toward producing content that is easy to monetize.

Another issue, in my humble opinion, is the rise of the so-called “personal brand.” Attention is drifting from what is being said to who is saying it, creating a cycle in which people lose their critical thinking skills and become dependent on individuals rather than ideas.

For this reason, I have decided to explore ways and technologies to deliver informations in a way that is content centric, lightweight, and fast.
